For bonding applications requiring exceptional shear and peel strength, Master Bond Supreme 10HT delivers outstanding performance for both similar and dissimilar substrates. Supreme 10HT is a one-part toughened epoxy that offers lap shear strength of 3,400 psi and higher. Its fracture toughness and other mechanical properties are superior to those of standard epoxy adhesives due to the incorporation of a rubberized toughening agent.

Master Bond conducted lap shear testing with Supreme10HT for similar and dissimilar metals, and achieved a lap shear strength of over 3,400 psi for every combination of metal substrates (see graph below). These numbers were by far the highest among various other epoxies that were tested in comparison.

Supreme 10HT can withstand severe thermal cycling, mechanical shock, and vibration, and is highly resistant to water, oils, fuels, solvents, acids, and bases. This no-mix epoxy meets NASA outgassing standards and is cryogenically serviceable, with a temperature range of 4K to 400°F (204°C). It offers an unlimited working life at room temperature, and cures in 60-75 minutes at 250°F or faster at higher temperatures. Supreme 10HT adheres well to a variety of materials, including metals, glass, ceramics, and many plastics.
